Ask just about anyone around the Grand Lake area if they know Mr. D and they’ll say “yes, isn’t he a Realtor?" Don Meints (Mr. D) began his real estate career in 1995 with Better Homes Real Estate, and then went on to Re/Max in 2001 where he remains a top producer today.

Yes, you may know Mr. D... but did you know that before he was a Realtor that he and his wife Punkin were very successful entrepreneurs?  In the mid 60’s he was co-founder of Campway Manufacturing in Garden Grove, Ca, where they produced 7 cab-over camper’s a day; which became one of the most popular mini-motor homes in the 70’s. In 1978 they moved their family to Grove, OK, where they opened Mile High Restaurant, which became a stepping stone for Lakeside Restaurant; which they owned and operated from 1978 to 1995. After selling the very successful business, Mr. D got into real estate.

In 2008 Mr.D teamed up with Dustin Phillips to create the Meints/Phillips Real Estate team, they believe that having two people working together is a big advantage for their buyers and sellers.

Dustin Phillips has been a lifelong resident of Grove, OK where he grew up ranching. He continued the ranching from a distance while attending OSU in Stillwater, OK. He then moved to OKC, Ok where he helped grow a small interior hardwood business, taking it from a 3 employee operation to a region wide operation; manufacturing hardwoods and molding which are delivered all over the Midwest. Dustin and his wife Crystal moved back to their hometown full time in 2007. Where Crystal is a dentist and Dustin continues the ranching business while being a full time Realtor.
